Bid Opening Date to Change for DPW and Recreation and Parks Constuction Projects Scheduled for January 18 Opening

The Department of General Services Permit desk will be closed on Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13, 2012 for remodeling. The offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 17. Therefore, Department of Public Works is extending due dates for Department of Public Works and Department of Recreation and Parks construction jobs scheduled to open on January 18 to the following week, January 25, 2012.

As a reminder, City offices are closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King's birthday.

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce that Baltimore City residential water customers have more time to sign up for Paperless Billing and receive a one-time, 5% discount off a monthly water bill. Residents who enroll in paperless billing by Friday, June 30, will receive the 5% discount.
