What We Do

DPW provides essential public services to our city and our region. We deliver high-quality drinking water throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area.  Our water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure serves almost 2 million people in Baltimore City and the Baltimore Metropolitan area. In Baltimore City, we are responsible for keeping the city clean. We provide trash and recycling collections and other sanitation services to Baltimore City residents.
