Work With DPW
DPW is looking for people dedicated to delivering best-in-class services to join our team. We are seeking individuals committed to providing and supporting the delivery of solid waste, recycling, water, and wastewater services. Explore career opportunities.
DPW’s YH2O Career Mentoring Program partners with the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED), and the Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA) to train young adults for careers in the water industry. This innovative mentoring program provides participants with opportunities to explore water industry careers through worksite tours, job shadowing and connection with a career coach/mentor.
DPW supports building the capacity of small- and minority-owned businesses to compete for City of Baltimore Contracts. Our Small Business Development Program provides business owners with information to become contract ready.
All construction-related contractors and design consultants bidding to perform services of $50,000 or more for the City of Baltimore must be prequalified by The Office of Boards and Commissions (OBC). Consultants and contractors find the information that they need to complete the pre-qualification process.
