Baltimore Recycling Coordinator Named to Maryland Recycling Network Board
Public Works Director Alfred Foxx has announced that Baltimore City Recycling Coordinator, Robert Murrow, has been inducted as a member of the 2012-2013 Maryland Recycling Network Board of Directors.
Robert Murrow is the first Baltimore City Recycling Coordinator to join this prestigious group’s Board of Directors. This position will provide the Recycling Office with a vast recycling networking base and allow collaboration with groups across the state including private businesses and corporations, other jurisdictions, officials, vendors, and citizens.
The Maryland Recycling Network Board of Directors is comprised of 17 members who represent a broad base of private businesses and corporations, private citizens, government representatives, and non-profit organizations primarily in Maryland, and also in Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. In addition to showcasing Baltimore's efforts, Murrow will help spearhead network efforts that promote recycling throughout the state.
