Residence and Business Affected by Today's Water Main Break on York Road
Thursday Nov 1st, 2012
BALTIMORE, MD (November 1, 2012) – Public Works Director Alfred H. Foxx announced earlier today that at 1:00 p.m. a 16" water main break occurred at 4605 York Road. Currently York Road between 41st Street and Old Cold Spring Lane has been limited to one north bound lane on the south bound side to allow for two way traffic.
At this time 40 business and residences are without water; however The Department is working as quickly as possible to restore service to the area.
Crews continue to work on the unrelated water main break at the 1800 block of East Cold Spring Lane, which occurred earlier this morning.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
