City Holiday - Election Day
Monday Nov 5th, 2012
Director Alfred H. Foxx reminds Baltimore City residents that since Election Day is a City holiday, Department of Public Works’ offices and yards will be CLOSED TOMORROW, Tuesday, November 6, 2012, a holiday.
ELECTION DAY:
• Trash and recycling will NOT be collected.
• Saturday, November 10, 2012 will be the make up collection day for trash and recycling in those ares that are regularly scheduled for collection on Tuesday.
• NO BULK TRASH collections are scheduled.
• Street sweeping will NOT take place.
• Citizen drop-off centers WILL BE CLOSED (all yards including Quarantine Road Landfill, the Northwest Transfer Station and the Eastern, Western and Northwest Collections Facilities).
• Parking meters will be in effect.
