DPW’s Columbus Day Closures and Service Interruptions
BALTIMORE MD (October 3, 2014) - Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds residents that Columbus Day is a City holiday and that DPW offices will be closed Monday, October 13, 2014.
NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: Mondays are not regular curbside trash and recycling collection days in Baltimore City.
DPW’s YARDS CLOSED: All Citizen Convenience Centers WILL BE CLOSED, including Quarantine Road Landfill.
MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPING: There will be no Mechanical Street Sweeping on Columbus Day.
BULK TRASH: There will be no bulk trash collection scheduled on Columbus Day.
PARKING METERS: Parking meters will be in effect on Columbus Day.
