Three Solid Waste Drop-Off Centers Begin Extended Summer Hours
BALTIMORE, MD - Baltimore City Department of Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., announced today that extended summer hours at three of the City’s Citizen Drop-Off Centers will begin on Tuesday, May 26. Baltimore residents can bring residential waste, bulk trash, recycling and eCycling to the Bureau of Solid Waste Centers located around the city, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. These hours will remain in effect through Saturday, September 5, 2015.
Extended summer hours will be in effect at:
- Western Sanitation Yard at 701 Reedbird Avenue
- Eastern Sanitation Yard at 6101 Bowleys Lane
- Northwest Sanitation Yard at 2840 Sisson Street
Other drop-off locations retain their regular hours:
The Quarantine Road Landfill at 6100 Quarantine Road is open for citizen drop-off Monday - Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road is also open for citizen drop-off Monday - Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
