Temporary Water Outage

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore City Department of Public Works has begun a water shut-off in a portion of Downtown Baltimore in order to make repairs to a broken water main at the intersection of Calvert and Monument Streets. The impacted area is anticipated to be limited to buildings within the following boundaries:



Madison Street on the North

Calvert Street on the East

Center Street on the South

St. Paul Street on the West.



Water mains within this footprint are being drained at this time in preparation for this repair work. Lane closures are in place at the break location, please use alternate routes if possible.



Repairs to the main are to begin this evening once the water lines have been drained.

Residents who enroll in paperless billing by Friday, June 30, will receive the 5% discount.
