DPW Introduces Monthly Newsletter

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to introduce the Customer Report, a new monthly newsletter providing essential information about DPW initiatives and activities.

Starting in March, a printed copy of the newsletter will arrive with monthly water bills mailed to Baltimore City residents. The newsletter will also be available on the DPW website.

“This newsletter is one more way for us to provide information about DPW and to better inform and engage our customers,” said DPW Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E. “At DPW, our most important priority is to serve the citizens of Baltimore.”

The first edition of the Customer Report includes information water main repair activity during the “Bigger Freeze,” Dec. 24, 2017, to Jan. 23, 2018, and upcoming DPW events.

DPW Extends Deadline to Receive Discount for Paperless Billing Sign Up

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce that Baltimore City residential water customers have more time to sign up for Paperless Billing and receive a one-time, 5% discount off a monthly water bill. Residents who enroll in paperless billing by Friday, June 30, will receive the 5% discount.

DPW Offices, Sanitation Yards Closed Memorial Day: Monday, May 29

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell reminds residents that Memorial Day is on Monday, May 29, 2023, and is a City-observed holiday. DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED.
