DPW ISSUES COVID-19 FAQ
Baltimore City Department of Public Works Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark today released DPW’s COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to citizens. This list contains information specific to DPW including information on solid waste, and water and sewer services available during this time. Basic services like trash and recycling collection, corner can emptying, drop off locations, and providing the best drinking water available continue as usual. The FAQ also contains a list of temporarily suspended services, answers water billing and payment questions, and provides information on the status of DPW construction projects.
The COVID-19 FAQ will allow DPW to continue to serve our citizens and protect employees while adhering to State policies on social distancing. Policies detailed in the FAQ better enable DPW to reserve employees for core essential services.
