BGE Woodbrook Phase 2

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments for a request to waive1 Stormwater Management Quantity and Quality Requirements for BGE Project No. WMS 1884191, Woodbrook Phase 2 Operation Pipeline Program.

Notice is hereby given that the public is invited to comment on the request by the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, 1699 Leadenhall St, Baltimore, MD 21230 for a waiver of Stormwater Management (SWM) quantity and quality control requirements for the Woodbrook Phase 2 Operation Pipeline Program Project. Comments on the request for SWM Waivers must be received by 5:00 PM on January 24th, 2011, to ensure consideration by the Department.

The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company is proposing to replace the aging existing cast iron and bare steel underground gas main pipelines with polyethylene (plastic) and wrapped steel pipelines in the Woodbrook neighborhood of Baltimore City. The affected areas are as follows: Read More
