Steam to Hot Water Heating System Conversion at Latrobe Homes
Application for Stormwater Management Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver and a quantitative control waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277.

Housing Authority of Baltimore City, 417 E. Fayette Street, Room 301, Baltimore, Maryland 21202

Project Description:
This project will replace the existing heating system piping and the existing domestic hot and cold water piping serving each building in the development. All proposed grades on the site will be returned to existing elevations and all existing drainage structures and drainage patterns will be maintained to that of the existing conditions.

The project is maintenance and the applicant is requesting a Quality Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-2(1) of the City Code. Since the development is a pipeline project, the project will return the disturbed area to predevelopment runoff condition.

The Applicant is also requesting a Quantitative Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-1(A)(2) of the City Code. The project is an underground project that will return the disturbed area to predevelopment runoff condition.
