Application for Redevelopment Waiver: Baltimore Travel Center

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.92 acres and is located on the Southeast corner of the intersection of Interstate Ave. & O’Donnel St. Cutoff. The project will consist of the reconstruction of diesel truck fueling islands, canopy, and scale.  

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide a 50% impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for this project.
