Application for Qualitative Control Waiver: Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus Conduit Improvements

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.06 acres and is located south of the intersection of N. Charles Street and University Parkway. The project will consist of the construction of a new concrete duct bank connecting to proposed Baltimore City Conduit within N. Charles Street. This duct bank will service fiber to existing Johns Hopkins University Buildings.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.06 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.06 ac of this project.
