Application for Phased Development Waiver: CHESAPEAKE COMMERCE CENTER - PARCEL C

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Phased Development Stormwater Waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 19.42 acres and is located north at the intersection of Keith Avenue and Broening Highway. The project will consist of mass grading in preparation for the overall site development. The mass grading includes re-grading several existing sediment traps, and cutting and filling existing soils for the proposed building foundation pad.

The Applicant is requesting a phased development waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-5 of the City Code. The project conforms to an existing stormwater management master plan, previously approved by this Division.
