Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 5 acres and is located in East Baltimore. The project will consist of Replacement of existing 6-inch thru 12-inch cast iron water pipe with new ductile iron pipe, various fittings, valves and appurtenances. Replacement of existing galvanized and non-copper service leads with new copper piping. Replacement of exising fire hydrants with new traffic fire hydrants. Restoration of sidewalks, curb and gutter and roadway paving.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 5 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 5 ac of this project.
