Application for Redevelopment Development Waiver: EAST BALTIMORE DEVELOPMENT INC.

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 1.6 acres and is approximately two city blocks along E. Eager Street bounded by N. Washington Street to the west and N. Chester Street to the east.. The project calls for removal of all building structures within the project area. The remaining hard surfaces such as sidewalks and alleys will be removed in the future under a separate phase.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.59 ac of this project
