Application for Redevelopment Waiver: MEMORIAL APARTMENTS

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 2.19 acres and is located southeast of the McMechen Street and Eutaw Place intersection. The scope of work entails renovating the existing apartment building and various site improvements to include driveways, sidewalks, landscaping and off-street parking.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide an underground sand filter facility to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for area of 0.285 ac this project.
