The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of .46 acres and is located in central Baltimore at the intersection of North Eutaw and West Centre Streets. The project will consist of removing existing impervious pavement, trees and lighting. Improvements include turf areas designed for dog use throughout the park, an observation deck, benches, concrete sidewalks, perimeter chain link fence, landscaping, pedestrian lighting, two pet drinking fountains and two rain gardens.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The project will provide water quality controls to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.068 ac of this project.
