Application for Redevelopment Waiver: San Martin Drive Pedestrian Improvements Project

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 3.4 acres and is a linear project from the intersection of Remington Avenue and Wyman Park Drive to the intersection of San Martin Drive and University Parkway. The project will consist of pedestrian improvements, streetscape, a pedestrian bridge, and minor roadway improvements.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction and water quality treatment to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 3.4 acres of this project.
