The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment and qualitative waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate limit of disturbance of 0.794 acres and is located at the southeast intersection of Eutaw Place and McMechen Street. The project will consist of; 1) construction of a 4-story residential building, 2) installation of utilities, 3.) installation of a stormwater management green roof, and 4.) right-of-way maintenance work.   

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will be required to provide impervious area reduction/water quality treatment for 0.254 acres of impervious for this project (50% of 0.508 acres). New impervious area added to the site will be treated under New Development criteria.
