The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 5.14 acres and is located NW at the intersection of Winchester Street and N. Bentalou Street. The project will consist of the renovation of several existing apartment buildings, partial regrading of the site to provide ADA access, streetscape, utilities, stormwater management, playground, and landscape improvements.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.89 ac ± of disturbed area.
