GWYNNS FALLS/LEAKIN PARK PAVILION RELOCATION

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a stormwater management/erosion & sediment control permit.

Project Description: The pavilion relocation project involves installation of a historic pavilion at Leakin Park. The existing pavilion will be removed from its current location at Dypski Park in the Canton community and relocated to Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park at 4921 Windsor Mill Road as part of a capital improvement program for park facility improvements.

The project area is bounded by Windsor Mill Road, N. Forest Park Avenue, and Sloman Drive. Streets affected include: Sloman Drive from the Windsor Mill Road and its extended loop.

The Applicant is requesting a stormwater management/erosion sediment control permit in accordance with Article 7, Division II, and Division III of the City Code. The Applicant has provided plans and designs that met the requirements of stormwater management and erosion and sediment control by using pavement harvesting methods and utilizing linear erosion and sediment control measures onsite.
