The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment Stormwater Waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description: The Grace Medical Building site address is 2001 W Fayette St, Baltimore, MD 21223. The proposed limits of disturbance (LOD) is 1.90 acres.
The project scope includes the demolition of an existing building and pavement, and it includes the abandonment/removal of utilities. The impervious surfaces will be replaced with grass. There is a net decrease of 1.64 acres of impervious surfaces which exceeds the 50% requirement for removal of impervious surfaces.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area removal to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.64 ac of this project.
