Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.70 acres and is located on the block bounded by N Washington Street, E Chase Street, N Chester Street, and E Eager Street. The project will consist of newly constructed townhomes, public alleys, and upgrading a public road.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide stormwater management through the use of 6 water quality units to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.637 acres of this project.
The Applicant will satisfy the remaining water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management] for 4,112 ft2 of this project.
