Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate Limit of Disturbance of 5.83 acres and is border by Furley Ave, Sipple Ave. and an alley. The project will consist of replacement of an existing elementary school with associated upgrades of public adequate facilities, site amenities and implementation of stormwater management.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide water quality measures to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.30 acres of this project.
