Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:    The project has an approximate area of 0.21 acres and is located on the northwest corner at the intersection of East Madison Street and North Calvert Street. The project will consist of a new rear building addition with new walkways, sidewalks, ramps, and stairs, and resufaced concrete sidewalk and asphalt roadways sections.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide water quality controls to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.15 ac of this project.
