Contractors, subcontractors, and others in the building trades who seek to do business with the City of Baltimore are invited to attend the fifteenth annual Design and Construction Presentation on Tuesday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at the War Memorial Building. This is a presentation for projects that will be advertised in the 2019 fiscal year.

The Baltimore City Departments of General Services, Housing and Community Development, Public Works, Recreation and Parks, and Transportation will discuss their capital plans for the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2018. Hundreds of millions of dollars in engineering, construction, and related jobs will be discussed.

City officials will be available to discuss the projects, and graduates of the Baltimore City Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Small Business Development Program will explain the educational and economic opportunities being made available by DPW.

The event is free, but you must register and bring your proof of registration. Networking is a featured part of the program, so please be sure to bring your business cards.

Garage parking is available next to the War Memorial Building, at 101 N. Gay St., and limited street parking is available in the area.

You can register for the event up to June 26 on Eventbrite.com. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Tonorah Houston-Burgee at 410-396-4041 or email: dpwcontractadmin@baltimorecity.gov.
