DPW Offices and Yards Closed Veterans Day Wednesday, November 11

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark reminds citizens that Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, is a City holiday.  DPW offices, yards and Community Collection Centers will be CLOSED. 

Trash collections scheduled for Wednesday, will be collected on the make-up day, Saturday, November 14.

Closed on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11 to residents and haulers:

  • Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road
  • Quarantine Road Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Road
  • Northwest Citizens' Convenience Center, 2840 Sisson Street
  • Southwestern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 701 Reedbird Avenue
  • Eastern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 6101 Bowleys Lane

Residents who enroll in paperless billing by Friday, June 30, will receive the 5% discount.
