Opening of Boating Season at Liberty and Prettyboy Reservoirs
BALTIMORE, MD (March 24, 2014) - Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., today announced that Boating Season at Liberty and Prettyboy Reservoirs has begun. The opening of the boat ramps had been delayed due to ice.
The boating season normally runs from March 1 to December 31 at these reservoirs. Boating season at Loch Raven Reservoir begins April 4 this year and goes to the last Sunday in November, with a limited schedule after Labor Day. Boating at all three City reservoirs requires a valid boating permit.
