Graffiti Removal Services

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) offers graffiti removal services for private residential homes and City-owned properties. DPW does not provide graffiti removal services for commercial properties or privately-owned businesses.

Graffiti removal services help keep public spaces clean and free from vandalism. This service is an important part of maintaining clean and safe public spaces within the City of Baltimore. If not removed, graffiti signals neighborhood blight, can increase criminal activity in the area, reduce local property values, and give the impression that the City is not committed to providing clean and safe environments for residents and visitors.

The graffiti removal process typically involves the use of specialized equipment/dustless blaster or painting over the area that has been vandalized. The process used depends on the building surface and the type of paint or material used to create the graffiti.
